Mobile Application Administration with IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation V7.1

Overview

In this course, you learn about the capabilities of IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation V7.1 and how to use it to deploy and manage mobile applications. The course begins with overviews of mobile development, IBM MobileFirst Platform, and MobileFirst Studio. You then learn about the essential administrative tasks involved with the management of cross-platform mobile applications. The course covers topics that include IBM MobileFirst security, push notification monitoring, operational analytics, direct update and version management, deploying applications from development to test or production, using the command-line interface, tuning MobileFirst Server for performance and managing applications with the IBM Application Center. The lab environment for this course uses the Windows platform.

This course is designed for experienced system administrators who want to deploy and manage applications to Android and iOS mobile environments by using IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation V7.1.

Prerequisits

Before taking this course, you should have the following skills:

• WebSphere system administration
• Basic knowledge of web application development
• Basic knowledge of Eclipse
